How to use this guide
Text, interpretation and current events are not the same thing
Each topic follows the same order: what Scripture says, where interpretations differ, and what belongs to verifiable reporting. A headline may invite a biblical question without proving that a prophecy has been fulfilled.

The red heifer
The red heifer belongs to the Torah’s purification ritual. Numbers describes its colour, condition and use, but does not set a date for a future temple or tell readers to treat each modern development as fulfilled prophecy.
Keep distinct: Reports about candidate animals or preparations in Israel are verifiable current events. Claims about what they mean for the end times are interpretations and should be labelled as such.

The Third Temple
Ezekiel 40–48; Daniel 9:27; 2 Thessalonians 2:1–4
Scripture describes Solomon’s Temple, the Second Temple and Ezekiel’s temple vision. Christians and Jews do not all interpret future-temple passages in the same way, so GOD News identifies the biblical text before presenting any prophetic reading.
Keep distinct: Temple advocacy, archaeological work and government policy can be reported as facts. Whether they fulfil Ezekiel, Daniel or Paul is a separate theological judgment.

The shofar
Leviticus 23:23–25; Joshua 6:1–20; Joel 2:1; 1 Thessalonians 4:16
The shofar is a ram’s-horn trumpet used in worship, warning, assembly and royal proclamation. Its sound appears across the Torah, the Prophets and the New Testament, but the passages do not make every modern sounding of a shofar a prophetic sign.
Keep distinct: Jewish worship and present-day events should be described with respect for their own setting before Christian readers consider possible symbolism.

The Temple Mount
2 Chronicles 3:1; Psalm 122; Luke 19:41–44
The Temple Mount is sacred to Jews, Muslims and Christians and remains one of the world’s most sensitive religious and political sites. Its biblical history, later religious significance and present legal arrangements each require their own evidence and context.
Keep distinct: Breaking news from the site is not, by itself, proof that a prophetic passage is being fulfilled. We report what happened first, then clearly mark biblical reflection.
