Sober about Scripture, serious about facts
Interest in end-times news often attracts sensationalism: date-setting, fear-driven headlines and claims that every headline fulfils a specific prophecy. We take a different path. Jesus said that no one knows the day or the hour (Matthew 24:36), and Scripture calls watchfulness a posture of hope, not panic. So we report what is verifiably happening — in Israel and among the nations — and we clearly separate established fact from biblical interpretation. Where Christians honestly disagree on prophecy, we say so.
What we do affirm: God keeps His promises, Israel's story matters, history is moving toward the return of Christ, and that hope steadies us rather than frightens us.

Are we living in the end times?
The New Testament describes the whole era between Christ's first and second coming as "the last days" (Hebrews 1:2; 1 John 2:18). In that sense, yes — believers have lived in the last days for two thousand years. Whether our generation will see the Lord's return, no one can say; Jesus reserved that knowledge to the Father (Matthew 24:36). The call is the same in every century: watch, pray and be ready.
Do today's headlines fulfil Bible prophecy?
Some developments — notably the return of the Jewish people to the land of Israel — echo promises the prophets made (Ezekiel 36–37). But Scripture rarely maps one-to-one onto a news cycle, and history is littered with confident predictions that proved wrong. We report events on their own merits and treat prophetic interpretation as interpretation, clearly labelled as such.
Why does Israel feature so prominently?
Because the Bible's story of the last days is inseparable from Israel: the covenants, the prophets, the Messiah's first coming in Bethlehem and His promised return to Jerusalem (Zechariah 14; Romans 11). Following end-times news without following Israel misses the centre of the biblical map — which is why Israel reporting is a cornerstone of GOD News.
Should end-times news make me afraid?
No. The same passages that describe shaking also command hope: "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near" (Luke 21:28). Biblical watchfulness produces sober, prayerful, hopeful people — not fearful ones. That is the tone we aim for in every story on this page.
