Über Henk
Henk Folkers ist Nahost-Korrespondent für GOD News – ein 70-jähriger Veteran und ehemaliger Armeeoffizier. Er berichtet aus Yafo (Jaffa) in Israel.
Seine Kolumnen beginnen mit dem, was er täglich sieht und hört, und beleuchten dann den historischen und jüdischen Kontext, den die meisten Schlagzeilen auslassen.

In ‚Inside Israel‘ nimmt Henk die Zuhörer mit hinter die Schlagzeilen – nicht aus einem tausende Kilometer entfernten Studio, sondern aus Israel selbst. Er spricht mit Soldaten und Reservisten, ‚einsamen Soldaten‘, arabischen Israelis, Bewohnern von Judäa und Samaria, Familien, die mit den Folgen von Krieg und Terror leben, sowie mit jüdischen und christlichen Leitern.
Co-Moderator Jan Willem van der Hoeven, der seit mehr als fünf Jahrzehnten im Nahen Osten lebt und 1980 die Internationale Christliche Botschaft Jerusalem mitbegründete, begleitet ihn bei den Themen Jerusalem, die Bibel und die Verbindung zwischen Christen und dem jüdischen Volk.
