A Little Boy with Great Faith

One evening, Oral Roberts prayed for two to three thousand people seeking healing, touching each of them with his right hand. He left the service completely exhausted and walked down a corridor toward his hotel.

Waiting for him there was a little boy: Willie Phelps. Willie told Oral that he had to be healed that very day. Such was the greatness of the boy's faith.

Oral told Willie that his faith had to be strong — and it was. He reached out, touched Willie, prayed for his healing, and then returned to his hotel.

A year later, Oral and Evelyn returned to Roanoke for another crusade. Willie had his mother take off his shoes. When he took a step, he realized that his bad leg was now just as long as the other one.

When Oral heard his testimony, he invited Willie onto the platform, where the boy told everyone about his miracle.
