David Hiemstra is a preacher and entrepreneur who, together with his wife Sytske, founded MazzelTov Reizen, which since 2016 has organised Christian, Bible-oriented group trips to Israel.
His love for Israel, the Jewish people and the Bible came from home: his father Gerrit Hiemstra spent years organising trips to Israel as a congregation leader and preacher. David himself has guided and organised group trips to Israel and other biblical lands for many years, and has been involved in Israel-related organisations, earlier as a board member of the Dutch chapter of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem.
For GOD News he writes faith reflections on the Bible and the news of our time — from Zechariah's word about Jerusalem to what he sees happening in the world today.
