My precious testimony of God’s faithfulness,

But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMPC)

DAY 6

Thank You, Jesus, for Your power, Your provision, and Your support today. Thank You for Your grace.

This morning we took Bright, our youngest daughter, to the airport. It was very early. We woke up at 5:15 a.m. and arrived at the airport at 6:10 a.m.

The whole morning I felt quite at ease until about 11:45 a.m., when it was almost time to go to the hospital for the biopsy.

A biopsy is a procedure in which a small piece of tissue or a sample of cells is removed from the body so that it can be analyzed in a laboratory. If a doctor identifies an area of concern, a biopsy may be needed to determine whether cancer or another condition is present.

As the time approached, anxiety, nervousness, and uneasiness suddenly hit me. For a moment, panic set in.

I couldn’t understand why. I believed I was healed. I knew Christ had died for me. I knew He had been pierced for my transgressions. So why did I have to undergo a biopsy in my breast? I didn’t want to. I hoped it wouldn’t be necessary. But I went to the hospital because I had to.

And then the most amazing thing happened. I went into the examination room, and the radiologist asked me to lie down and uncover the upper part of my body so he could perform an ultrasound and locate the area where he would need to do the biopsy in my right breast.

As I lay there, the radiologist kept looking and looking. He went back into another room to study the ultrasound images and the mammogram that had been taken previously. Then he called a nurse and asked her to look at them as well.

After that, he returned and once again carefully examined my breast with the ultrasound probe. He looked for quite some time.

Then he put the instrument down and asked me to look at him. As I did, he said, “I want you to understand this. I really want you to understand what I’m about to tell you.” I replied, “Okay.”

Then he said,

“I cannot replicate what they saw the first time because it isn’t there anymore. And I want you to trust me. I am not going to do the biopsy because there is nothing there to biopsy. I don’t want to hurt you. I don’t want to put you through pain for no reason. I can’t see anything. So I want you to trust me when I say that we do not have to do this. It is completely and totally unnecessary.”

I could only answer him with one simple sentence:

“Oh, praise the Lord!” He looked at me and said, “Excuse me?” So I repeated it: “Oh, praise the Lord!” And he replied, “Oh… that.”

I was overjoyed. Overwhelmed. Filled with complete and utter joy. I was allowed to leave the room and get dressed..

My whole body overflowed with gratitude and thankfulness. Once again, God had proven Himself faithful. Once again, He showed Himself to be the One in whom I could place my trust.

And through this experience He was teaching me something even greater. Not only to trust Him, but to understand that His grace is forever. His grace remains with us as long as we are His children who trust, build upon, and rely on Him. Nothing in this world can separate Him from you, nor can anything separate you from Him. You will always be His. You will always be His child. And He will always care for you as a loving Father. Just as He cared for me. This is not merely a testimony.

It is a testimony for everyone who is struggling to build their faith or lacking confidence in God’s promises. Build your faith by trusting Him. Read His Word. Meditate on His promises. Make them your own. Spend time with Him. Train your mind and body to submit to God’s Word.

Stand firmly upon His promises and upon all that God has prepared for you and for me. Amen.

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father,

I want to thank You from the bottom of my heart that You have taught me to trust You no matter what circumstances may look like.

Thank You, precious Jesus, that You chose to die on the cross so that we might receive healing through Your unselfish sacrifice.

Jesus, Your grace amazes me time and time again.

Where else can we run?

Where else can we go but into Your loving arms?

You are such a wonderful God who longs for a real relationship with Your sons and daughters.

Abba Father, I pray for all those who are facing a similar situation today. I pray for those who fear the outcome of medical tests and doctors’ reports.

No matter what they may hear, Lord, we choose to believe Your report.

Jesus, I pray that You will comfort them with Your mercy and surround them with Your peace.

By Your blood and by Your stripes, we declare healing.

Lord Jesus, we look forward to and expect our miracle.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen and Amen..

Remember ‘Joy is coming in the morning”
