Transparency in numbers
We publish these figures so readers can check not only what we say, but how we work. They are computed live from our public records.

- 3

How to read these numbers
A correction is only counted when it appears in our public corrections log, where every entry states what was wrong and exactly what changed. The average time to correction is measured from the original publication timestamp to the moment the correction was recorded.
We would rather show a correction than hide one: a visible correction log is part of how we earn trust. To report an error, use "Report a factual inaccuracy" under any article.
